Our Veterinarians
Dr. Linda Fisk
Medical Director
I received my D.V.M. in 1988. I graduated with honors at Washington State University Veterinary School. (Go Cougs!) I have worked at the Arden Animal Hospital since 1989. I enjoy all aspects of veterinary medicine, internal medicine, surgery and preventive health. When not working with my patients, I spend time with my husband, Henry, two sons, Braden and Garrett. We enjoy the outdoors and spend time camping, hiking and bicycling.

Dr. Christine Miller
I received my D.V.M. from UC Davis in 2016. I'm originally from Wisconsin and obtained my Bachelor's degree from the University of Minnesota in Public Relations in 2001. I've lived in California for 23 years and can't say I miss the cold! Veterinary medicine is a passion and I especially enjoy preventative health, surgery and internal medicine. At home I snuggle with my pit bull mix, Piggy, who is diva Miss Piggy reincarnated. I would love to have cats, but she won't let me. In my free time I enjoy crossword puzzles, gardening, reading and traveling.

Dr. Abigail Pines
Dr. Pines grew up in New York City and has very recently relocated to the Sacramento area. We are excited to have Dr. Pines at Arden Animal Hospital and for her to experience all that the West Coast has to offer.
Dr. Pines received a B.A. in Neuroscience and Behavior from Barnard College and earned her veterinary degree at Cornell University in 2017. After earning her DVM from Cornell University, Dr. Pines accepted a small animal internship in New York, where she developed an interest in Emergency and Critical Care. After about a year working exclusively in emergency medicine, Dr. Pines transitioned to general practice medicine.
Dr. Pines's professional interests include dentistry, long-term management of chronic illnesses and educating new pet owners in preventative care. Dr. Pines says her number one goal is always patient care and safety and treats each pet like her own.
Dr. Pines and her husband enjoy their standard poodle named Giorgia, and cat named Walnut. In addition to veterinary medicine, Dr. Pines enjoys reading, traveling, and baking pies when not working!
